The Dominion Astrophysical Observatory sits atop Observatory Hill in Saanich, BC, and has been monitoring the night sky since 1918. Saanich was also home to our first facility in the 1980s, brewing trademark Vancouver Island beers such as Goldstream Lager, Hermann’s Dark Lager and Piper’s Pale Ale.
